Chicken Rub
1tspPaprikaMild or smoked
½tspBrown sugar
½tspGarlic powder
½tspOnion powder
¼tspCayenne pepper powder

Honey Garlic Sauce
½cupHoney
½cupButter
2tbspGarlicFresh chopped
2tbspSoy sauce
2TbspBalsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
Thicken agent for gravy

Instructions
Prepare the chicken rub by mixing all the rub spice powders together along with ½ tablespoon of the oil. Mix well to create a paste and rub the chicken with the paste. Set aside while you prepare the ingredients for the sauce.
Prepare the ingredients for the sauce. Set aside.
Add the remaing ½ tbsp of oil to a heavy Dutch oven or skillet. Heat to very hot. Sear the rubbed chicken until brown on all sides. remove and set aside.
To the Dutch oven or skillet, melt the butter, then quickly saute the garlic for a few seconds, scraping up any bits of chicken,.
Add the remaining sauce ingredients and bring to a simmer.
Add the chicken; cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until the chicken is done - tender and falling off the bone. Depending on size, may take 45 minutes to an hour or so.
Remove chicken and stir in the chicken broth/cornstarch mixture to thicken. When desired consistency is reached, add the chicken back in and serve.
